The petitioner has approached this Court for issuance of directions to respondent No.1, Presiding Officer, Industrial Facilitation Council, Punjab, Chandigarh to decide the statutory application, claimed to have been filed by the petitioner under Section 6 of the Interest on Delayed Payments to Small Scale and Ancillary Industrial Undertakings Act, 1993.

Without commenting on the various pleas raised by the petitioner at all, at this stage, we dispose of the present petition with a direction to respondent No.1 to take a final decision upon the aforesaid application filed by the petitioner on December 22, 2003 (Annexure P.5) within a period of four months from the date a certified copy of this order is received, by passing a detailed and speaking order.

A copy of the order be given dasti on payment of usual charges.
