Notice of motion to the respondents.
On the asking of Court, Shri Sukhdip Singh Brar, Additional Advocate General, Punjab accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.
Copies of the writ petition have been supplied to the learned counsel for the respondents.
The petitioners have approached this Court for issuance of directions to the respondents to hand over the possession of plot No. 749-F, re-numbered as 804, measuring 50' x 90' in 110 Acres Development Scheme, Jalandhar.
From the perusal of the record, we find that a legal notice dated May 15, 2006 (Annexure P.2) has been sent by the petitioners which remains unresponded so far.
Consequently, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioners, we dispose of the present petition with a direction to Jalandhar Improvement Trust, Jalandhar, respondent No.2 to take a final decision on the aforesaid legal notice (Annexure P.2) within a period of four months from the date a certified copy of this order is received, by passing a detailed and speaking order.
A copy of the order be given dasti on payment of usual charges.
