Notice of motion to the respondents.
On the asking of Court, Shri I.S.Saggu, Standing Counsel for the Union of India accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.
Copies of the writ petition have been supplied to the learned counsel for the respondents.
The petitioner has approached this Court for issuance of directions to respondents No.2 to 3 to make delivery of the revolver to the petitioner at Chandigarh as per the booking priority No.926 with G.M. Ordinance Cable Factory, Chandigarh, respondent No.3.
From the perusal of the record, we find that a legal notice dated June 5,2006 (Annexure P.3) has been issued by the petitioner, which remains unresponded.
Keeping in view the aforesaid fact and without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, we dispose of the present petition with a direction to the G.M. Ordinance Cable Factory, Chandigarh, respondent No.3 to take appropriate action, in accordance with law, on the aforesaid legal notice (Annexure P.3) within a period of two months from the date a certified copy of this order is received.
A copy of the order be given dasti on payment of usual charges.
