Shiv Shakti Mandir Committee v. State of Punjab & Ors - CWP-13710-2006 [2006] RD-P&H 5697 (21 August 2006)

IN THE HIGH COURT OF PUNJAB AND HARYANA AT CHANDIGARH

CWP NO.13710 of 2006

DATE OF DECISION: August 31, 2006

Shiv Shakti Mandir Committee

....Petitioner

VERSUS

State of Punjab and others

.....Respondents

CORAM:- HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE VINEY MITTAL
HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE H.S.BHALLA

PRESENT: Shri R.S.Mamli, Advocate for the petitioner.

Viney Mittal,J.(Oral).

The petitioner claims itself to be a Mandir Committee constituted by the residents of the locality. It has challenged the allotment made on May 20,2003 in favour of respondent No.5.

After hearing the learned counsel for the petitioner and taking into consideration the averments made in the present petition, we are satisfied that the petitioner has absolutely no locus standi to file the present petition. In any case, the allotment having been made on May 20,2003, the present petition is highly belated.

Dismissed.
