On the asking of Court, Shri B.S.Chahal, Assistant Advocate General, Punjab accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.
Copies of the writ petition have been supplied to the learned counsel for the respondents.
The grievance of the petitioner is that juniors to the petitioner have been promoted vide order dated April 19,2006 (Annexure P.3) whereby the petitioner has not so promoted.
From the perusal of the record, we find that a representation dated May 17,2006 (Annexure P.4) has been filed by the petitioner, which remains unresponded.
In this view of the matter, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, we dispose of the present petition with a direction to the Director Public Instructions (Secondary Education), Punjab, respondent No.3 to take a final decision on the aforesaid representation (Annexure P.4) within a period of four months from the date a certified copy of this order is received, by passing a detailed and speaking order.
A copy of the order be given dasti on payment of usual charges.
