Pursuant to the order dated July 4, 2006, Mr. Baljit Puri, Advocate has put in appearance on behalf of respondent No.1. He has tendered unconditional apology of the first respondent for his absence on the previous date.
As far as the main case is concerned, Shri Cheema, Sr. DAG, Punjab, has referred to the affidavit of Mr. H.S. Chahal, SSP, Sangrur in which it is categorically mentioned that FIR No.300 has been registered on 23.11.2005 at P.S. Dhuri, under section 447, 379 IPC against the named persons.
In this view of the matter, this petition is disposed of with a direction to the SSP, Sangrur and SHO, P.S. Sadar Dhuri to ensure a COCP No.962 of 2005 -: 2 :-
dispassionate, fair and impartial investigation of the FIR and thereafter to proceed in the matter in accordance with law.
