Iqbal Khan, an undertrial prisoner, sent a letter to this Court alleging therein that the Haryana Police is harassing his family members, who are residing in village Dhanaura, Police Station Bilaspur, District Yamuna Nagar.
Pursuant to the notice issued, a reply has been filed on affidavit by the SHO, Police Station Bilaspur, District Yamuna Nagar. The same is taken on record. In the reply, it has been stated that the family of the petitioner was never harassed. There is no complaint whatsoever against the wife and children of the petitioner and they were never called in Police Station for any purpose. It has also been stated that now the family of the petitioner is living in Noorpur Basti, Saharanpur (Uttar Pradesh). The statements of the mother and father of the petitioner have also been annexed along with the reply in which it has been stated that the family members of the petitioner were never called in Police Station or harassed by the police.
In view of the aforesaid reply, no direction is required in this case.
