The prayer made in the instant petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution is for quashing select lists, dated 10.12.2003 and 26.12.2005 (P-2 and P-3) of B-1 under 35% quota. A further prayer has been made to direct the official respondents to consider the petitioner for B-1 selection along with consequential benefits as per his seniority under 35% quota, keeping in view the Division Bench judgment of this Court in the case of Naresh Kumar v. For the relief claimed in the instant petition, the petitioner has already sent a legal notice, dated 25.7.2006 (P-6) to the official respondents.

C.W.P. No. 13725 of 2006

If the claim of the petitioner is found to be meritorious and decided in his favour then the benefit accruing to him shall be disbursed within a further period of three months thereafter. It shall be appreciated if a speaking order is passed.
