This petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution prays for issuance of a writ in the nature of certiorari quashing order dated 24.8.2006 (P-1). A further prayer has been made to direct the respondents to promote the petitioner as Junior Accountant from the post of Clerk.
For the relief claimed in the instant petition, the petitioner has already sent a representation dated 25.8.2006 (P-4) to the respondents.
Without going into the merits of the case, we deem it just and appropriate to direct the respondents to take cognizance of the CWP No. 15140 of 2006
representation, dated 25.8.2006 (P-4) sent by the petitioner and decide the same expeditiously preferably within a period of two months from the date a certified copy of this order is presented to them. It shall be appreciated if a speaking order is passed.
Petition stands disposed of in the above terms.
