The petitioners have filed this petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. for issuing directions to respondents No 1 to 3 to protect their life and liberty.
It has been alleged that the petitioners being major have solemnized marriage against the wishes of their parents.
Pursuant to the notice issued, reply on behalf of respondent- State has been filed in Court today and the same is taken on record. In the reply, it has been stated that nobody is harassing the petitioners and they are not wanted in any case by the police.
After hearing counsel for the parties, this petition is disposed of with a liberty to the petitioners that in case the petitioners still feel any threat to their life and liberty, it will be open for them to approach the Deputy Superintendent of Police of the concerned area. If any such application is filed, the same will be looked into in accordance with law.
Disposed of accordingly.
