This is a petition under Section 439 of the Code of Criminal Procedure for bail in a case lodged under Sections 387, 467, 420, 468 and 471 IPC.
The allegations made in the FIR are that the complainant received a call on his mobile to the effect that the caller had been given SUPARI i.e money to commit murder of the son of the complainant namely Parveen and two year old grand daughter. They would be spared if a sum of Rs.10,000,00/- was paid. Subsequently, the demand was reduced to Rs.5,00,000/-. The complainant refused to pay.
On investigation, the petitioner had been found to be involved in the incident and the mobile has been recovered from him.
No ground for bail is made out.
Petition is dismissed.
