Kulwinder Singh v. State of Punjab - CRM-52626-m-2006 RD-P&H 7127 (14 September 2006)
Crl. Misc. No.52626-M of 2006
DATE OF DECISION:4.9.2006
Kulwinder Singh ..........Petitioner
State of Punjab ..........Respondent
CORAM:- HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE SATISH KUMAR MITTAL
Present:- Shri Vijay Rana, Advocate
for the petitioner.
Petitioner Kulwinder Singh has filed this petition under Section 439 Cr.P.C. for the grant of regular bail in case FIR No. 31 dated 2.5.2005 under Sections 302/34 IPC, registered at Police Station Kartarpur, District Jalandhar.
I have heard counsel for the petitioner and gone through the FIR as well as order dated 28.3.2006 passed by Additional Sessions Judge, Jalandhar.
It has been observed by the trial Court that in this case all the prosecution witnesses have been examined except the Investigating Officer. The case is at the fag end.
In these circumstances, at this stage, I am not inclined to grant regular bail to the petitioner.
However, trial Court is directed to complete the trial expeditiously.
