The petitioner has filed the instant petition under Article 226 of the Constitution for quashing orders dated 30.4.2003 (P-5) and 24.3.2005 (P-9) whereby his claim for regularisation of service has been rejected. A further prayer has been made to direct the respondents to regularise his services on the basis of policy instructions of the State, dated 6.4.1998, 25.4.2000 and 1.10.2003 (P-3, P-6 and P-8).

Having heard the learned counsel for the parties we are of the considered view that no such directions could be issued for regularization of the services of the petitioner in view of the Constitution Bench judgment of Hon'ble the Supreme Court in the case of Secretary, State of Karnataka & others v. Umadevi & others, (2006) 4 SCC 1 as well as a detailed judgment of this Court in the case of Rajinder Kumar v. State of Haryana, 2006 (2) PLR 474.
Therefore, the instant petition fails and the same is dismissed.
