Present: None.
Surya Kant, J. (Oral)
On November 18, 2005, notice was directed to be issued to the respondent to show cause as to why proceedings under the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971 be not initiated against him. However, the notice could not be issued as no process fee was filed. On 12.5.2006, one more opportunity was given to the petitioner to file the process fee within one week so that notice could be issued to the respondent. The Office has again reported that no process fee has been filed, therefore, notice, as directed by this Court, could not be issued to the respondent.
It appears that either the petitioner's grievance has been redressed or he is otherwise not interested to pursue this petition.
Consequently, the petition is dismissed. However, liberty is granted to the petitioner to file a fresh petition taking into consideration the later events, if any, if so required or desired.
Rule discharged.
