The petitioners have filed this petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. for quashing FIR No.157 dated 18.8.2006 registered under Sections 452/427/342/323/506/148/149 IPC at P.S.Division No.7, Distt.Ludhiana, on the basis of compromise.

I have heard the counsel for the petitioners.

The aforesaid FIR has been registered only on 18.8.2006 and investigation in the said case is pending. However, in case the petitioners allege that there is a compromise between the parties, it will be open for the petitioners to approach the investigating agency and convince them about the compromise. Therefore, I do not find any merit in the petition.

Dismissed with the aforesaid observation.
