Crl. Misc. No. 62266-M of 2006
DATE OF DECISION : 12.10.2006
State of Punjab and others
CORAM :- HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE SATISH KUMAR MITTAL
Present: Mr. Swaran Sandhir, Advocate,
for the petitioner.
* * *
Petitioner Gurmit Kaur has filed this petition under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure for issuing direction to the investigating agency to further investigate the matter in case FIR No. 5 dated 10.1.2006 registered at Police Station Kharar under Sections 419/420/464/467/468/ 471/474/120-B IPC.
I have heard counsel for the petitioner and gone through the contents of the FIR.
The investigation in the aforesaid FIR is still going on. The final report has not been submitted so far. The contention of the petitioner is that the investigating agency is not considering respondent No.5 as an accused, therefore, it be directed to involve respondent No.5 as accused in the case. In my opinion, at this stage, any such direction will amount to unnecessary interference in the investigation.
