The petitioner has filed the instant petition under Article 226 of the Constitution for quashing order dated 31.5.2005 (P-6) whereby his claim for regularisation of service has been rejected. A further prayer has been made to direct the respondents to regularise his services w.e.f. 31.1.1996 and to pay all consequential benefits on the basis of policy instructions of the State, dated 27.5.1993, 7.3.1996, 18.3.1996 and 1.10.2003 (P-1 to P-4) respectively.
Having heard the learned counsel we are of the considered view that no such directions could be issued for regularization of the services of the petitioner in view of the CWP No. 16087 of 2006
Constitution Bench judgment of Hon'ble the Supreme Court in the case of Secretary, State of Karnataka v. Umadevi, (2006) 4 SCC 1 as well as a detailed judgment of this Court in the case of Rajinder Kumar v. State of Haryana, 2006 (2) PLR 474.
Therefore, the instant petition fails and the same is dismissed.
