Petitioner Pritam Singh apprehending his arrest in a non- bailable offence in case FIR No.132 dated 29.6.2003 registered under Sections 307/323/34 IPC and Sections 25/54/59 of the Arms Act at Police Station Sadar, Malout, District Muktsar, has filed this petition under Section 438 Cr.P.C. for grant of anticipatory bail.
I have heard the counsel for the parties and gone through the contents of the FIR.
This order be read in continuation of the earlier order dated September 1, 2006 passed by this Court.
Counsel for the petitioner contends that in terms of the aforesaid interim order, the petitioner had appeared before the trial Court and furnished his fresh regular bail bonds which have been accepted and attested and since then he is regularly appearing. Counsel for the respondent-State, on instructions from ASI Gurdev Singh, does not dispute this fact.
In view of the above and for the reasons stated in the interim order dated September 1, 2006, the same is made absolute.
Disposed of accordingly.
