Petitioner Inderjit Kaur and Gurdial Singh apprehending their arrest in a non-bailable offence in case FIR No. 234 dated 25.8.1995 under Sections 420/468/471/120-B/511 IPC, registered at Police Station Sadar, District Ludhiana, have filed this petition under Section 438 Cr.P.C. for anticipatory bail.
This order may be read in continuation of the order dated 7.9.2006.
I have heard counsel for the parties and gone through the contents of the FIR.
Counsel for the petitioners contends that in view of the aforesaid order, the petitioners have joined the investigation. Counsel for the respondent-State, on instructions from Balwinder Singh, ASI, does not dispute this fact and further states that since the investigation is complete, the petitioners are no more required for further interrogation. Counsel further contends that supplementary challan will be filed in Court soon.
In view of the above, the interim bail, granted vide order dated 7.9.2006 is made absolute subject to the same terms and conditions.
Disposed of accordingly.
