CORAM: HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE M.M. KUMAR.
HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE M.M.S. BEDI.
Present:- None for the petitioners.
Mr. Harish Rathee, Sr. DAG, Haryana.
M.M. KUMAR, J. (ORAL)
The prayer made in the petition is that ex-gratia grant of Rs.2.5 lacs has not been paid to the petitioners. Consequently, quashing of order dated June 14, 2005 (P-8), which declines the request of the petitioner, has been prayed for. On the last date of hearing, learned State counsel has placed on record a copy of the order dated September 15, 2006 alongwith a copy of the letter sent by the Director General to the Advocate General, C.W.P. No. 7194 of 2006
stating that an amount of Rs.2.5 lacs as ex-gratia grant has already been paid to the petitioners. We had adjourned the case on September 22, 2006, as the counsel for the petitioners was not present. However, today again he is not present. Therefore, we dispose of the writ petition as having been rendered infructuous on account of the fact that the ex-gratia of Rs.2.5 lacs has been granted to the petitioners. If any other dues remain to be paid to the petitioners then a representation may be made by the petitioners, which shall be decided by the respondents in accordance with law.
Disposed of having been rendered infructuous.
