The only prayer made by the petitioner in the instant petition is that against the order dated December 22, 2003 passed by respondent No.2 for recovery from the salary of the petitioner, a statutory appeal has been preferred by him on January 27, 2004. The appeal is pending since then C.W.P. No. 16589 of 2006 
before respondent No.1 and it is not being decided despite repeated requests.
Notice of motion.
On our asking, Mr. Harish Rathee, Senior Deputy Advocate General, Haryana, who is present in Court, accepts notice. Three copies of the writ petition have been handed over to him.
With the agreement of the parties, the petition is taken up for final disposal.
After hearing the learned counsel for the parties, we deem it just and appropriate to direct respondent No.1 to take a final decision on the appeal filed by the petitioner which is pending since January 27, 2004, expeditiously preferably within a period of four months from the date a certified copy of this order is produced before him. It will be appreciated if a detailed speaking order is passed after granting personal hearing to the petitioner.
The writ petition stands disposed of in the above terms.
Copy of the order be given dasti on payment of usual charges.
