Notice of motion to the respondents.
On the asking of Court, Shri Sukhdip Singh Brar, Additional Advocate General, Punjab accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.
Copies of the writ petition have been supplied to the learned counsel for the respondents.
The petitioner has approached this Court for issuance of directions to the respondents to increase and restore the milling capacity of the petitioner firm as 3 tons and to allot the paddy for milling by taking the milling capacity of the petitioner firm, as per the re-assessed capacity.
From the perusal of the record, we find that a representation dated April 14, 2006 (Annexure P.3) has been filed by the petitioner, which remains unresponded.
In this view of the matter, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, we dispose of the present petition with a direction to the District Food and Supplies Controller, Sangrur, respondent No.4 to take a final decision on the aforesaid representation (Annexure P.3) within a period of one month from the date a certified copy of this order is received, by passing a detailed and speaking order.
A copy of the order be given dasti on payment of usual charges.
