PRESENT: Mrs. A.K.Singh, Advocate for the petitioner.
The petitioner claims to be 1984 riot victim and as such claims that he is entitled to certain benefits as per the various policies of the State Government and the Central Government. However, the aforesaid benefits are not being extended to the petitioner.
After considering the averments made by the petitioner in the present petition, we find that the petitioner should first approach the respondents by filing a detailed and comprehensive representation staking the claim which has been raised before this Court.
In this view of the matter, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, we dispose of the present petition with a liberty to the petitioner to file a detailed and comprehensive representation by appending all the relevant documents within a period of four weeks from the date a certified copy of this order is received, before the Deputy Commissioner, Ludhiana. If any such representation is filed by the petitioner, then the Deputy Commissioner, Ludhiana shall take a final decision on the aforesaid representation within a further period of four months of the filing of the representation, by passing a detailed and speaking order.
A copy of the order be given dasti on payment of usual charges.
