The learned counsel appearing for respondent No.2 has placed on record a photocopy of the communication dated October 23, 2006, whereby the respondent University has communicated to the institute respondent No.2 that the result of petitioner Soyaljit Kaur pertaining to 1st

semester has since been declared on October 19,2006 and it has also been communicated that the result of the petitioner pertaining to 5th

semester examination conducted under the interim orders passed by this Court has also been declared on October 19,2006. The University has also directed the institute to permit the petitioner to pursue her studies. A photocopy of the said communication is taken on record and marked as Annexure A.

The learned counsel appearing for the respondents also state at the bar, on instructions, that the petitioner shall be permitted to pursue her studies as a regular student, in accordance with rules/regulations of the University.

In view of the aforesaid fact, we find that the present petition has been rendered infructuous and the same is disposed of accordingly.
