CORAM:- HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE VINEY MITTAL
HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE H.S. BHALLA
PRESENT: Shri Charan Jit Sharma, Advocate for the petitioner.
The petitioner was involved in an unfair means case and has been dis-qualified from appearing in any examination of the Punjab Technical University for a period of two semesters. As a matter of fact, the petitioner was found in possession of a mobile phone when he had appeared in the examination.

The learned counsel states that the petitioner would be satisfied if this Court issues direction to the Vice Chancellor for disposal of the aforesaid appeal.
Keeping in view the stand taken by the learned counsel for the petitioner but without expressing any opinion on the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, we dispose of the present petition with a request to the Vice Chancellor of Punjab Technical University, respondent No.1 to take a final decision on the appeal filed by the petitioner within a period of two months from the date a certified copy of this order is received.
