Learned counsel has pointed out that against the order dated 10.2.2006 (P-3) removing the petitioner from service on the ground that he suppressed the information with regard to his conviction in case FIR No. 127, dated 10.9.1994, registered under Sections 323/325/34 IPC, Police Station Bond Kalan, District Bhiwani, an appeal has been preferred by him, which is pending since 18.4.2006 before respondent No. 2 i.e. Director General of Police, Haryana and he will be satisfied if a direction is issued to respondent No. 2 to decide the aforementioned appeal expeditiously.

Mr. Harish Rathee, Senior Deputy Advocate General, Haryana, who is present in the Court, accepts notice on our asking.

Four copies of the petition have been handed over to the learned State counsel. With the consent of the parties, the petition is taken up for final disposal as no reply is required to be filed.

After hearing learned counsel for the parties and without expressing any opinion on the merit of the controversy raised, we direct respondent No. 2-the Director General of Police, Haryana, to take up the appeal filed by the petitioner on 18.4.2006 and decide the same expeditiously preferably within a period of three months from the date a certified copy of this order is produced before him.

The writ petition stands disposed of in the above terms.
