In response to the show cause notice, affidavit of Sarban Singh, the then Director, Urban Development, Haryana has been filed which is taken on record. As per the averments made in para 2 of the affidavit, the petitioner had already been paid a sum of Rs.1,42,500/- vide memo dated 3.11.2005 and the balance amount of Rs.2,23,040/- has been paid to him vide cheque No.133183 dated 8.9.2006.

It is, thus, averred that the entire claim of the petitioner for medical reimbursement in terms of the directions issued by this Court has been satisfied.

After hearing learned counsel for the parties and having regard to the above-stated steps taken by the respondent, this petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to put-forth the remaining claim, if any, before the Director, Urban Development Department, Haryana as well as Director General of Health Services, Haryana. In future also, the petitioner shall be at liberty to put-forth any such claim. As and when such claim is presented by the petitioner, the respondents shall consider the same promptly in accordance with their policy as well as the judgment of this Court and release the same if found admissible.

Disposed of.

Rule discharged.
