Deepak Kumar @ Deepu v. State of Punjab - CRM-72601-M-2006 RD-P&H 1270 (6 February 2007)
Crl.Misc.No.72601-M of 2006
DATE OF DECISION: FEBRUARY 6, 2007
Deepak Kumar @ Deepu
State of Punjab
CORAM: HON'BLE MR.JUSTICE SATISH KUMAR MITTAL
Present: Mr. H.S.Brar, Advocate,
for the petitioner.
Mr.N.S.Gill, AAG, Punjab.
This is second petition for regular bail filed by the petitioner in case FIR No.175 dated 19.7.2005 registered under Sections 302/323/324/34 IPC at Police Station City Muktsar, District Muktsar.
I have heard the counsel for the parties and gone through the contents of the FIR.
The earlier petition for regular bail filed by the petitioner was dismissed as not pressed at that stage on July 7, 2006. In the FIR, there are direct allegations against the petitioner, who gave a brick blow on the head of the deceased. Keeping in view the nature of allegations made against the petitioner, I am not inclined to grant regular bail to him.
However, the trial court is directed to expedite the trial.
