The petitioners have filed this petition under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure for quashing of FIR No. 215 dated 11.11.2006 registered at Police Station Nangal Chaudhary, District Mohindergarh, under Sections 498-A, 406, 34 IPC and all the consequential proceedings arising therefrom.
The investigation in the aforesaid FIR is still pending. In the FIR, there are allegations against the petitioners.
After arguing for some time, counsel for the petitioners states that the petitioners may be permitted to withdraw this petition with liberty to convince the investigating agency, on the basis of the averments made in this petition and the documents annexed therewith, that the allegations levelled by the complainant are false.
Dismissed as withdrawn with the aforesaid liberty.
