Petitioner Ranbir Singh alias Billu has filed this petition under Section 439 of the Code of Criminal Procedure for the grant of regular bail in case FIR No. 45 dated 14.8.2006 under Sections 376/450 IPC and Sections 3 and 4 of the Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989, registered at Police Station Hajipur, District Hoshiarpur.
I have heard counsel for the parties and gone through the contents of the FIR as well as the order dated 13.11.2006, passed by Additional Sessions Judge, Hoshiarpur, whereby bail application of the petitioner has been dismissed.
After arguing for some time, counsel for the petitioner states that the petitioner may be permitted to withdraw this petition at this stage.
Dismissed as withdrawn.
