As per the office report, notice could not be issued to the respondents as the process fee was not filed.
The petition is liable to be dismissed for non-prosecution on this score alone.
However, having regard to thee nature of relief sought in this petition, the same is being taken up and disposed of on merits.
The petitioners, who claim themselves to be major, born on 6.3.1986 and 3.8.1983 respectively, have alleged that they have married to each other on 8.12.2006. It is alleged by them that since the parents and other family members of petitioner No.1 are unhappy due to her marriage with petitioner No.2, the petitioners are apprehending imminent threat to their life and liberty.
From the scant material on record, it appears that the allegations made by the petitioners against the parents and family members of petitioner No.1 are totally unfounded and warrant no interference by this Court.
However, if on account of the inter-caste marriage performed by the petitioners, there is some factual and genuine threat to their life and liberty, they may move an application/complaint before the S.H.O., Police Station, Sabzi Mandi, Ambala Cantt and if any such complaint is received by the said S.H.O., he is directed to ensure that no harm is caused to the life and liberty of the petitioners at the hands of anyone.
