The petitioners have filed this petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. for quashing FIR No. 107 dated 29.5.2005 under Sections 406/498-A IPC and 1 ¾ of the Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961, registered at Police Station Sadar Rajpura, District Patiala and all the consequential proceedings.
In this case charge has been framed.
After arguing the case for some time, counsel for the petitioners confines his prayer to the extent that the personal appearance of the petitioners be exempted before the trial Court and further prays that he be permitted to withdraw this petition with a liberty to raise all the points raised in this petition at the subsequent stage of trial.
In view of the above, this petition is dismissed as withdrawn with a liberty to raise all the points raised in this petition at the subsequent stage of trial.
However, in case, the petitioners file an application for personal exemption before the trial Court, the same shall considered in accordance with law keeping in view the relations of the petitioners with the complainant.
