JUDGMENT

The question raised in this Writ Petition is with regard to the exemption granted to the employees under Rule 185(8) of the Kerala Co-operative Societies Rules, 1969.

2. The contention of the petitioners is that being employees of the second respondent, they are entitled for exemption and promotion from the date of occurrence of vacancies. As per Ext.P5 circular, the committee has the power to grant exemption. It is now reported that the committee has already taken a decision to grant exemption and to give promotion from the date of occurrence of the vacancies. In the light of the above, it is declared that the petitioners are entitled for exemption and promotion on the date fixed by the committee. The Writ Petition is disposed of as above.
