JUDGMENT

The petitioner has approached this Court for a direction to the first respondent to consider Ext.P2 objection filed by him against the resolution passed by the Bank.

2. The Board of Directors had passed a resolution on 22.4.2005 granting exemption to the additional third respondent for promoting him to the post of Branch Manager. The petitioner filed Ext.P2 objection against the said resolution which is still pending. While admitting the Writ Petition, this Court passed an order to maintain status quo for a period of one week from the date of the order. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, there will be a direction to the first respondent to consider Ext.P2 objection filed by the petitioner before taking a final decision on the resolution. Final decision in the matter shall be taken by the first respondent within 45 days from the date of receipt of a copy of  W.P.(C)NO.16910/2006 2 this judgment. Interested parties shall also be heard while taking the final decision. Till a final decision is taken in the matter, the order of status quo passed by this Court shall continue. The Writ Petition is disposed of as above.
