J U D G M E N T

The petitioner is operating the stage carriage KL-03/ G 6504 on the route Adoor - Ranny. Ext.P1 is the time schedule of his vehicle. He has submitted Ext.P2 representation praying for modification of the said time schedule as requested therein. Praying for a direction to the respondent to consider and pass orders on Ext.P2 without delay, this writ petition is filed.

2. The learned Government Pleader, upon instructions, submitted that Ext.P2 is received and pending. But, according to the respondent, there is no necessity to modify the time schedule as requested by the petitioner.

3. Whether a change of the time schedule is necessary or not is a matter which has to be decided after hearing the petitioner. Accordingly, the respondent is directed to take a decision on Ext.P2 in accordance with law after affording an opportunity  WPC.NO.29977/2006 2 of being heard to the petitioner and other affected operators, if any, within two months from the date of production of a copy of this judgment.
