ORDERThe learned Public Prosecutor and the learned counsel for the petitioner do both submit that there was no sitting of court on 23.11.2006 and though CW20 was present, he could not be examined on 23.11.2006. The matter now stands posted to 16.01.2007. The learned Magistrate must certainly show a sense of expedition in the peculiar facts and circumstances of this case. The learned Public Prosecutor on behalf of CW20 submits that CW20 shall appear before the learned Magistrate on 16.01.2007. The learned Magistrate must make every endeavour to dispose of the case as expeditiously as possible thereafter at any rate, within a period of 3 months from 16.01.2007.
2. With the above observation/direction, this Crl.M.C is, dismissed. Hand over a copy of this order to the learned counsel for the petitioner for production before the learned Magistrate. R.BASANT
