J U D G M E N T

The writ petition is filed with the following prayers:-

i) issue a writ of certiorari to quash Exts.P6 andP7 orders issued by the 2nd respondent. ii) issue a writ of mandamus, or any other appropriate writ, order or direction, directing the 2nd respondent not to interfere the work of the Panchayat in relation to the construction of building for Museum. iii) issue a writ of mandamus, or any other appropriate writ, order or direction, directing the 2nd respondent to give an opportunity to hear the petitioner before taking the final decision. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the Panchayat may be granted an opportunity to approach the Government so as to seek exemption from the building rules. Accordingly the writ petition is disposed of as follows: In the event of the Panchayat moving the Government within a period of one month from today, the matter will be duly considered by the Government with notice to the petitioner Panchayat and respondent 3 and 4 and appropriate orders in accordance with law will be passed within another six months. There shall be no demolition of the disputed structure till such time.
