This review petition is at the instance of the 1st writ petitioner Co-operative Society. The writ petition was disposed of recording the interim order in C.M.P.No.19543/2001. According to the petitioner, since the L.I.C. has been following the practice of remittance of the commission through the Society and such practice facilitated the business of the Society which is one formed for the welfare of the agents, the same practice should be continued. In the writ petition, the petitioners had submitted Ext.P6 representation before the 4th respondent. It is made clear that since the writ petition was disposed of only recording the interim order, the judgment shall not stand in the way of the petitioner approaching the 4th respondent in the writ petition for disposing of the representation. It is made clear that the petitioner herein is free to file a comprehensive representation before the Chairman of the L.I.C. in English within a period of one month from today, in which case the same will be duly considered R.P.No.851/2006 :2: by the said authority within another two months. The respective Branch Managers will also consider whether it is feasible to continue the same practice till a decision is taken by the Chairman during the pendency of the writ petition.
