J U D G M E N T
The writ petition is filed with the following prayers:-
"(i) To issue a writ of mandamus or other appropriate writ direction or order directing the 1st respondent to decide the status of the petitioner's husband after conducting a proper enquiry with a fair reasonable opportunity to the petitioner and her husband and communicate the decision thereon to the petitioner. (ii) To issue a writ of mandamus or other appropriate writ direction or oder directing the respondents not to take any action for deportation of the petitioner's husband Sri. Koyammu from India till a proper decision is taken on Ext.P9 by the 1st respondent and communicated to the petitioner.
2. In case no action has been taken by the 1st respondent on Ext.P9, there will be a direction to the 1st respondent to pass appropriate orders on Ext.P9 in accordance with law, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment. The interim order passed by this Court in C.M.P. NO. 11565/97 will continue till such time. The writ petition is disposed of as above.
