The writ petition is filed with the following prayers:-
a) Issue a writ of certiorari or any other writ, order or direction calling for the records relating to Ext.P1, P4 and P14 relating to LA No.194/85 and quash the same as illegal.
b) Issue a writ of mandamus or any other writ, order or direction directing the 2nd respondent to issue order granting registry on the petitioner assigning the 10 cents of land comprised in Sy.No.197/1 of Kakkanad village (Old Sy.No.324/1 of Thrikkakara South Village). In view of Ext.P5 notification dated 22-7-1997 and Ext.P7 assignment list published thereafter and in view of Ext.P14 report of the Tahsildar himself and still further in view of Exts.P16 to P21 tax receipts, petitioner is entitled to get assignment. There is no counter affidavit. There will be a direction to the second respondent to consider the matter afresh with notice to the petitioner ignoring Ext.P4 and pass appropriate orders in the matter within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment. The writ petition is disposed of as above.
