The writ petition is filed mainly with the following prayers:-
(i) "Direct the respondent to consider the grievances raised by the traffic wardens in Ext.P3 and P6 representations within a time limit to be prescribed by this Hon'ble Court after hearing the petitioner. (ii) Declare that the police has no right to interfere with the service of the traffic wardens which they are performing under private parties/public sector undertakings and issue a writ of mandamus or other appropriate writ, order or direction commanding the 2nd respondent and the officials under him not to interfere with the service of traffic wardens, so long as they do not interfere with the work of police." It is seen from the counter affidavit filed on behalf of the second respondent that the representations have already been disposed of. In case the petitioner has still any grievance left, he may approach the Government. The writ petition is disposed of as above.
