W.P.(C) No. 20821 OF 2006

Dated this the 8th day of December, 2006

JUDGMENT

Sri.C.T.Ravikumar, counsel for the petitioner invites my attention to my own common judgment in WPC Nos.12697/04, 2811/05 and 24013/2005. The learned counsel submits that the above common judgment has been confirmed by a Division Bench of this Court in WA Nos.1028, 1077, 1138 and 1297 and 1298 of 2006. The issue raised in this Writ Petition is the same as the one which was decided by me in the common judgment and also confirmed by the Division Bench. Under these circumstances, the Writ Petition will stand disposed of declaring that the petitioners are entitled for reliefs on the basis of the judgments referred to above and directing the petitioners to place the common judgment as well as the judgment of the Division Bench confirming the common judgment before the 2nd respondent who will consider the claims of the petitioners in the light of the principles laid down in the judgments. The petitioners will place copies of the judgments within three weeks of their receiving a copy of this judgment and the 2nd respondent will do the needful within one month of receiving copy of this judgment. Till such time as the claims of the petitioners are decided by the 2nd respondent as directed above, nobody who is junior to the petitioners will be promoted.
