The writ petition is filed with the following prayers:-
"(i) Issue a writ of certiorari or any other appropriate writ, order to quash Ext.P7 order passed by the respondents. (ii) Issue a writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ, order or direction directing the respondents to grant to the petitioners and other Confidential Assistants in the subordinate judiciary service, very same service conditions with read to pay scale, promotion avenues, etc., as that are available to the Confidential Assistants in the Secretariat service." Learned Special Government Pleader submits that the 1st respondent has constituted a commission to look into the anomalies. There will be a direction to the commission to look into the matter, with notice to the petitioners, and take appropriate action to redress the grievance of the petitioners, within a period of three months from the date of production of a copy of this judgment by the petitioner. It is made clear that while the anomaly commission taking action as above, treatment given to similarly situated employees in Ext.P8 will also be taken into consideration. It is further made clear that the commission will examine the matter ignoring Ext.P7. The writ petition is disposed of as above.
