Petitioner is aggrieved by the disciplinary proceedings initiated against him on the verge of retirement. Though the petitioner has taken several grounds regarding the motive in suspending the petitioner, in view of the fact that he has already crossed the age of superannuation, what survives is only the finalisation of the disciplinary proceedings. There will be a direction to the respondents to finalise the disciplinary proceedings initiated against him within a period of three months from the date of production of a copy of this judgment by the petitioner, if not already finalised. It is made clear that it will be open to the petitioner to file a representation praying for revocation/cancellation of Ext.P3 suspension order before the 1st respondent in which case the same shall also be considered by the 1st respondent within the said period. The writ petition is disposed of as above.
