The petitioner is the first accused, in crime No.322/2006 of Kasargod Police Station, for the offence punishable under Section 366 IPC read with Section 34 IPC. It is alleged that the petitioner and others had deceitfully forced the victim to go with them to Kasargode, and locked her up in a room. The petitioner attempted to catch hold of her. She cried aloud and the neighbours intervened and informed the police. The victim was rescued from their. She gave a detailed statement. Therefore, the police registered the crime.2. In view of the above facts that are placed before me and after hearing both sides, I direct the petitioner to surrender before the Judicial Magistrate of First Class-I, Kasargode, on 23.8.2006 at 11.00 a.m. The learned Magistrate shall consider the bail application, that may be filed by the petitioner, as per the law.
