O R D E RThe petitioner is involved in forging the sales tax bills, as the materials produced before me, reveal. He is therefore, accused of the offence punishable under Sections 468, 471 and 420 IPC, in crime No. 337/2006 of Kilikollur Police Station. The prosecution submitted that the arrest and interrogation of the petitioner are necessary because of the ramifications of the actions of the petitioner. The involvement of the sales tax authorities also have to be investigated.
2. I heard the arguments, advanced by the learned counsel for the petitioner. In the facts situation of the case, I am not inclined to grant a pre-arrest order, under section 438 Cr.P.C. If the petitioner surrenders before the Investigating Officer, he shall proceed with the petitioner, according to the law. The application is disposed of as above. J.M.JAMES
