The petitioner had availed a loan from the second respondent and now the loan became due. Hence steps are taken to recover the amount from the petitioner. The petitioner now submits that he is willing to remit the amount and also submits that he is entitled for the benefit for one time settlement on the basis of the circulars issued by the authorities. When the writ petition came up for admission, this court directed the petitioner to remit an amount of Rs. 10,000/- and that Rs.10,000/-is already remitted. Now this court heard the learned counsel appearing for the second respondent and as the petitioner expressed his willingness to remit the amount and it is proper for the second respondent to consider the claim of the petitioner for the benefit of one time settlement, for which the petitioner will file the petition within 15 days from today. If the petitioner files such application for one time settlement the bank-second respondent shall consider the same and shall pass appropriate orders thereon within 30 days of receipt of such application. Further it is directed that the petitioner shall remit an amount of Rs.7,500/- (Rupees Seven Thousand Five Hundred Only) within one month from today.
