O R D E RThe petitioner is the first accused, in crime No.405/2006 of Kannur Town Police Station. He was arrested on 24.8.2006. The offence alleged against seven accused are under Sections 143, 147, 148, 341, 323, 324 and 308 IPC read with Section 149 IPC. There are two injuries on the front frontal region and parietal region of the right side of the head of the complainant. Hence this application, under Section 439 Cr.P.C.
2. Considering the duration of the judicial
detention from 24.8.2006 and the completion
investigation, so far as this petitioner is concerned, I
grant bail and release the
petitioner from jail, subject to
the following conditions:-
(a). The petitioner shall execute a bond for Rs.25,000/-, with two solvent B.A.5621/2006 2 sureties, each for the like sum, to the satisfaction of the Judicial Magistrate of First Class-I, Kannur.
(b). The petitioner shall report before the Investigating Officer, once in a week, on every Tuesday, between 10.00 a.m and 11.00 a.m., for a period of two months, starting from 26.9.2006. The application is allowed as above. J.M.JAMES
