W.A. NO. 1211 OF 2002
======================

Dated this the 18th day of June, 2007

J U D G M E N T

Radhakrishnan, J.

We have perused the judgment of the learned Single Judge.

2. Heard the counsel for the respondents.

3. Learned Single Judge quashed Exts. P4 and P5 to consider the claim of the writ petitioners for transfer to Local Police in the light of the observations contained in the judgment as well as in the light of the judgment of the Division Bench in WA No.1506 of 1994. In the circumstances, we find no reason to take a different view taken by the learned Single Judge. All the same, when the claim of the petitioners are considered, they may be given opportunity to represent the grievances. With the above direction, this writ appeal is disposed of.

K.S.RADHAKRISHNAN, JUDGE.

ANTONY DOMINIC, JUDGE.
