W.P(c) NO.18932 OF 2007
Dated this the 20th day of June, 2007
J U D G M E N T
Radhakrishnan, J.This writ petition is filed seeking a writ of mandamus directing the 2nd and 3rd respondent to take immediate steps under the provisions of Sec.37 of the Travancore Cochin Hindu Religious Institutions Act and to assume the management of the Ambattukavu Bhagavathi Temple and to take further steps as may be necessary under the provisions of Sec.38 of the Act for the protection of movable and immovable properties of the temple forthwith. We find no reason to give such a direction, since it is for the authorities to act in accordance with law about which we express no opinion. The writ petition is dismissed as above.
